Miss LaBarthe taught me at Mt Carmel Academy in New Orleans. A few years ago I met her over here again and she had lunch with several of her former MCA Students-we were class of '67. I met Penny when she was living at Fedelis home and immediately took a liking to her and her singing. The first day we met she was dancing with a 6 year old and really enjoying the dance and singing . Every time I left she would say I love you and I would give her a kiss. She made a great impression on me and I missed her when she left Fedelis. May she RIP
