Peggy Hart Valcour's Obituary
Peggy Hart Valcour passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Covington, LA at the age of 86. She was born on March 18, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to Gustave Hart and Peggy Green Hart.
Peggy was the mother of three daughters and is survived by her daughter, Sharon Valcour Baham (Felix), and son-in-laws, Tyrone Brustie and Christopher Williams, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was one of seven children and is survived by her siblings Cynthia Velazquez (Carlos) and John Hart (Althea).
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings, her husband, Lewins Valcour, and her daughters, Janell Legaux Brustie and Rhonda Valcour Williams.
Peggy was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends over a good meal, such as her very own recipe and family favorite pot of “Maw Maw’s” gumbo. Some of her passions were online Amazon shopping and enjoying Netflix shows. Peggy was humorous, respected and liked and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her lively spirit and funny nature will remain in the many memories of her cherished family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. A private burial will take place at a later date.
