Paula Jerilyn Gassen passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012.
Beloved mother of Amy Gassen Smith (Andy) and Robbie Tyrney (Jessica); loving grandmother of Sophie Smith; wife of the late Glenn Robert Tyrney, Sr.; daughter of Dorothy “Dottie” Delatte Gassen and the late James Dale Gassen; sister to Linda Gassen Tyrney (Archie), David Gassen (Leslie), Jeff Gassen, Mike Gassen (Linda), Steve Gassen (Holly), Paul Gassen (Carrie) and the late Jimmy Gassen.
Age 52 years, she was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 33 years. She was a 1977 graduate of L.W. Higgins High School, and is the Vice President and Operations Manager for Resource Bank.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 4:00 PM.
Visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 PM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
