A lifelong diehard Tiger fan, he attended LSU, where he was an avid supporter of any and all LSU sports. Paul worked as a safety director in dredging as his professional career. Being passionate about helping and serving his community, he was a volunteer firefighter with the Madisonville Fire Department and also enjoyed teaching as a Red Cross instructor and substitute teacher at Kehoe-France Northshore. Paul was one of the first EMTs in Madisonville, serving for 15 years,
He enjoyed camping, the outdoors, traveling, and history in his free time. Cooking was a way he always shared his love with friends and family, bringing everyone together for seafood boils, fried turkeys, and Louisiana-flavored lobster. Paul was reminded of God's love through beauty in nature and loved capturing that beauty by taking photos of the sun rising and setting. We are thankful to trust that by faith, Paul is with our Lord and Savior. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
