Paul Bernard Drouant III's Obituary
Paul Bernard Drouant III, 61, earned his eternal rest on Tuesday, July 28 after a valiant fight with a lengthy illness.
Born on June 1, 1965 to Paul and Cecilia Drouant, Paul was deeply proud of his Italian heritage and Louisiana roots. He attended Louisiana State University and remained a lifelong fan of LSU and Saints football. He spent his career managing restaurants, and found joy in music, history, and gadgets.
He is survived by his daughter Bailey Anne Drouant; younger sisters Lauri Drouant Smith (Gordon) and Angie Drouant Dugas; nephews Joseph Paul Dugas and Zachary Michael Dugas, as well as a large close-knit family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be announced shortly. In his memory, take the time to cook a meal and share it with those you care about. He had a deep passion for food and cooking and would be happy knowing his memory continues to bring people together around the table with good food.
