I remember when Paul came with his parents and sister Penny to visit us in Tallulah. Paul was about 11 or 12 years old then and was delighted to see that I had a Honda minibike he could ride. The motorbike had an odometer on it and Paul asked if he could try to put 100 miles on it in one afternoon. I can still see Paul riding all the turn rows of a neighboring farm, dust flying behind him as he rode hard to complete his mission. Every now and then I walked out to bring him some water and check Paul's progress. Paul was all smiles as he passed 50 miles, then 75 miles and finally after refueling Paul made his 100 miles with a couple tenths to spare. After lunch Carolyn consented that Paul could go out to the airport with me where we went up for a nice flight in my homebuilt racing airplane; an open cockpit low wing Spezio Sport Tuholer. Paul had a blast as we made low runway passes exceeding 120 mph. Yippee, what fun we had. It was a great day. Love you Paul, Uncle Guy... I and Aunt Madelyn send our greatest condolences and prayers to all our extended family, especially Kim, Carolyn and Penny, Jacob & Josh, also all the boys and ladies and grandchildren.
