Paul Ronald "Beanie" Boudreaux Sr.'s Obituary
Paul Ronald “Beanie” Boudreaux, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 84. Beanie was born in Lutcher, LA to Alvin Boudreaux and Drozina Matherne Boudreaux.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Diane Heinsz Boudreaux; his children Stephen (Dayna), Paul, Jr. (Alice), Jeannine Chevis (Pat), and Kenneth (Christine); and six grandchildren Emily, Danielle, Kyle, Jennifer, Courtney, and Madison. He is also survived by his sister Janet Boudreaux Guedry and his brother-in-law Louis Heinsz.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Alvin Boudreaux.
Paul was a resident of Covington, LA for 21 years. He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where he was the Product Service Manager. Beanie was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was a founding member of St. Benilde Parish, where he was active in Scouting and the CCD program. Beanie was also a member of Faith and Fun, Mandeville Senior Club, and Holy Mackerals. After retiring, he enjoyed volunteering at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and at Covington Country Club. Paul and Diane enjoyed many years of square dancing with Pelican Squares in Metairie and Ozone Squares in Mandeville.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Paul to be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Holy Trinity Dr, Covington, LA 70433.
