Di and family - our hearts are heavy learning of the passing of Cliff. I've known him for over 75 years and never knew his first name was Paul, what a surprise. We all grew up together in Port Sulphur - I graduated in 1953 and Cliff in 1954. He was a great friend and always had new joke to tell us. I moved to Arlington, Va in 1962 and went to work for the Defense Dept and retired from the Defense Intelligence Agency in July 1992 and moved south to Fairhope, Al.. My wife Joan and I would bump into you guys at various venues when we visited Louisiana and it was always a delight to hook up again. We kept out friendship going via the WEB and I always enjoyed hearing from him. Our prayers and Blessings go out to you and family. Ernie & Joan Ledet, Fairhope, Alabama
Cliff was a dear friend for 48 years. Words seem so inadequate to express our feelings as we come to the realization that Cliff is no longer a part of our life. We met Cliff when I joined Freeport Sulphur and were neighbors and tennis partners on the townsite. When we left Freeport and moved to Oregon, Cliff helped with the driving and we remained close friends. For the past 25 years he and Diane have been a big part of our extended families' life. We enjoyed vacationing together, traveling on cruises, visits to Oregon and Louisiana. I don't remember Cliff going anywhere without his camera, and many of the pictures would eventually appear in a Smile-Box or Jib-Jab email. Thanks to Cliff we will always have these lasting memories to remember, all the trips, all the visits, and fun times we shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane and the entire Albarado family.

Di and family,
So sorry for your lost. We all knew Cliff from Port Sulphur. Jay taught him in high school and said he was real smart. He'll feel at home in Heaven as many of his family and friends were waiting for him.
Im so sorry to hear of Cliff’s passing. A true friend and mentor. So many fond memories. He was “Mr. Freeport” to hundreds of employees and a “Pal” to all. He will be truly missed. Prayers to his family. God Bless you Cliff.

My name is Janice Anderson. Cliff was best man at our wedding Nov. 24th, 1963. My husband Andy met him in Germany while they were both in the service. My husband did not want to return to the north and cold weather. Cliff talked him into moving to Port Sulpher and working there. He finally landed in New Orleans and became a firefighter. We met several years later. Our sons are the same age. We used to go to visit Cliff and his family often. Andy died in 1973 and we lost touch. Cliff was always so nice and warm. He was a good man. Thinking of his family at this time. Janice Anderson
Diane:
I was very saddened to read in the paper of Cliff's death. I have good memories of you and him working hard, or hardly working, in his case--too busy visiting--at Star Fitness for a number of years. Both of us being from Cajun South Louisiana, he always greeted me there by calling me "Opelousas" and was full of welcome, conversation and joie de vivre, making the exercise task easier to take. He was truly interested in others, a
great gift.
Eternal rest give to him, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

I have many memories of Mr. Cliff. He was always happy and would tell you hello whenever he saw you. I am sure he will be missed by many. God bless you all during this time.
