Patty Curtis Myrick's Obituary
Patty Curtis Myrick passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2017 at the age of 85. She was the beloved daughter of the late Clyde Leslie and Margarett Adelle Curtis. She is survived by her husband, Talmage Lavon Myrick; daughters, Kathryn Ann Scalfano (David) and Jennifer Lynn Hamlin (Kenneth). She was the loving grandmother of Justin Matthew Scalfano (Jenny), Janina Adelle Scalfano, Hannah Marie Hamlin, Ali Kaitlin Hamlin and great grandmother to Caden Borgeson. Also survived by her sister, Wanda Curtis Dennis, and numerous loving relatives. She was born in State Line, Mississippi and grew up on a farm in Wayne County, Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi Southern then moved to Louisiana in 1957. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed animals, gardening, antiques, cooking and photography. Most of all she loved people.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at St. Timothy United Methodist Church located at 355 Asbury Dr., Mandeville, La. 70471 on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Visiting will begin at 10am.
