Patrick A. Nolan's Obituary
Patrick Anthony Nolan passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 7, 2017. An electrician at Avondale Shipyards for nearly 40 years, he was born in New Orleans on Saturday, September 25, 1943 to Ethel Edna Schneidere and James Gerald Nolan. Before moving to Abita Springs, LA in 2004, he was a long time resident of Jefferson Parish.
The beloved husband of Darlene Levy Nolan, he is survived by five children - Nanette Broadus, Patrick Michael Nolan (Kelly), Kelly Berndt (Gus), Irvin Prince (Stacy) and Felicia Heirch; one sister - Sheila Nolan Flick; 12 grandchildren - Seth Broadus, Eric, Dalanya and Kassidy Nolan, Emily Dutruch (Aaron), Erica Berndt, Addison, Dalton and Harlie Prince, Hannah Cheramie, Jerry Heirch and Wyatt Frickey; and one great grandson - Brett Paulk. He is also survived by one niece - Shana Flick. His parents preceded him in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Wednesday will begin at 12:00 Noon.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow mass.
