Patrick A Haik's Obituary
Patrick A. Haik age 66, of Madisonville passed away Saturday evening, April 3, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was born on December 12, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mitchel and Jeannette Haik.
Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Arlene Miller Haik; his children Norman Haik (Kristy), Connie Haik Cauble (Joby), and Ashley Haik; his grandchildren Austin Haik, Abbi Haik Ledet (Caroline), Pam Haik, Heaven Cauble, and Michael Cauble; and great-grandchild Gemma Haik. He is also survived by his siblings Mitch Haik and Mary Haik.
He is preceded in death by loving parents Mitchell and Jeannette Haik.
Patrick graduated from St. Paul’s High School in 1973, and he attended college for a brief amount of time. After, college Patrick worked in his family’s successful clothing store for many years before beginning a successful career as contractor in home construction. He was a very simple man that was loved and well respected by his family and friends. Patrick was a caring and kind man who will be deeply missed by all that knew who him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 PM until service time. Entombment will directly follow services in Covington Cemetery #1. Family and friends are also invited to an evening visitation in E.J. Fielding’s Parlor room beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021.
With COVID-19, restrictions social distancing and face mask are required to attend services.
