Patricia Holloway "Pat" Vigil's Obituary
Patricia H. “Pat” Vigil passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at her home in Covington, LA. She was born on July 6, 1936 in Bogalusa, LA to the late Wilmer C. Holloway and Maude Baham Holloway.
Pat was married to her beloved husband, Orlando Vigil, for 44 years and together they had one son, Dr. Joseph O. Vigil (Nikki). She was the loving grandmother of Maison Vigil and the late Mary Payton Vigil. Pat was the sister of Dale Bolar, Don Holloway, Gloria Jo Holloway, Roger Holloway, Gary Holloway, Kay Lott, Dee Dee Pusa, Debbie Blackburn, the late Pete Holloway, Stevie Holloway, Ricky Holloway, Wayne Holloway, and Jeannie Crews.
Pat is best known for her long career and service as an English teacher at Jesuit High School, New Orleans, LA, St. Paul’s School, Covington, LA, and in various schools during her service as a School Sister of Notre Dame.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. A WAKE will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Visitation on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the Mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Covington, LA. Please, Share a Memory on the Tribute Wall.
