Patricia "Patty" Venturella's Obituary
Patricia “Patty” Venturella, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 22 at the age of 83.
Loving mother of Noel Neville Dauterive III (Judi), Holly Dauterive Morales (Erik), and Patrice Dauterive Kunzli (Gary). Grandmother of Hayley Kunzli, Cameron Dauterive and Olivia Morales. Daughter of the late Patricia Mary McInerney Kramer and Richard Joseph Kramer Sr. Sister to Rita K. Durham, John Steven “Steve” Kramer, Mary Angela K. Lambert, and Elizabeth K. Winslow. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Carlo” Venturella, and siblings Mary Lois K. Lewis, Richard J. Kramer Jr. and Joseph A. Kramer. She is survived by the father of her children, Noel Neville Dauterive, Jr., a large extended family, many friends, and companion Jim Fortier.
Patty was a graduate of Holy Angels High School in New Orleans. She was a long-time resident of Chalmette, where she raised her children before moving to Mandeville. In addition to being a loving homemaker, she was employed by Texaco for several years. She later played a significant role in her late husband's restaurants, notably the Ancient Mariner in Madisonville, and also supported her companion's Christmas tree business for many years.
Patty enjoyed traveling, artistic hobbies, playing golf, and spending time with her granddaughters and extended family. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Patty's warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the staff at the Trace Senior Living and Passages Hospice for their compassionate care of Mrs. Patricia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:30 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, La., with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
