Miss Pat I always thought it was tough getting into your good graces after stealing away your daughter to live in sin (unmarried). But once I did your heart was full of love, kindness, and generosity.
I have many fond memories of visiting your beautiful home on Thompson road.
One of my fondest though sad was helping with cleanup with Lisa and Lance after Hurricane Katrina.
I also have wonderful memories of our wedding at our new house in Utah and the time spent with you and Floyd along with my folks.
I also remember the visits to Utah with you Floyd and Lance and trips to the Southern Utah desert.
The times you visited in Montana where also filled with fond memories but also two of the saddest with the loss of both Floyd and then just a few years later Lisa.
I don't know were my life may have taken me with out the Thompson family in my life. I feel very blessed to have had you in my life. I will miss you just as do both Lisa and Floyd.

Dear Mom,
You will be missed but always in my heart. I am proud to know you for 60 years. I cry now but the tears will be enjoyed with all the wonderful memories I had with you living in Folsom, Louisiana in the last five years with you. I will miss making you peanut butter jelly sandwiches and you telling me to be careful when I am crossing the causeway before I leave to work. You were always worried about me as a lovely mom will always do. Even though I am not from here but I now consider myself a Folsom boy for life. I am staying here to keep the beautiful home that you and Dad built. I could make my list longer but I just want to tell you that I love you with all my heart as you told me before you passed and went to heaven while I was holding your hand. You are now my angel watching over me and tell Lisa and Dad I said hello. You promised you would. I finally got that haircut as you told me to do. You told me you were proud of me but I will always be proud of you. I love you Mom.
Lance Thompson
Sad to hear of this passing. The family lived near us for many years in the Chicago suburbs where Lance and I were good friends. I remember the warmth and generosity of Mrs. Thompson, and offer my condolences to the whole family.
I have so many wonderful, loving thoughts and memories of my Aunt Pat, I can’t possibly write about them all. I will cherish the fond memories of summers in Chicago with her and my Uncle Renée as a child. Then as an adult having my children spend summers with her in Louisiana. She was my mom’s charismatic, witty, elegant, and sharply dressed eldest sister who will be deeply missed.

Pat was my first experience of Midway Airlines, which made it a beautiful beginning. She was my trainer ~ excellent in so many ways! Her caring nature made me trust her like a mother. I had occasion to work with her during my years at Midway, and it was always a joy. She made you feel you were special, and I've no doubt she made so many others feel that way, too. I'll always be grateful to her. She is someone you don't forget. Her family has my heart.
