Patricia Davies "Penny" Sharp's Obituary
Patricia “Penny” Davies Sharp, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Covington, LA. She was born on November 6, 1940 in New Orleans, LA to the late Emile P. Davies and Mattie Sharp Davies. She was a life-long resident of Covington and Bush, LA.
Penny is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Whitney Mouzon Sharp. She was the loving mother of Whitney Blair Sharp (Melissa) and April Sharp Johnston (Matthew). She will be dearly missed by her four grandchildren, Olivia, Nathan, Jacob, and Daniel. Penny was the sister of Elizabeth “Betty” Perrilloux, Karl Davies, Marlene Haffey, Emile “Pat” Davies, Toni Maklary, and Vickie Kuhn. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM. A WAKE will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation on Saturday will be from 12:00 Noon until service time.
