Patricia Ann Hammell's Obituary
Patricia (Pat) Ann Hammell passed away on October 31, 2009 at the age of 72.
She was a native of New Jersey and a resident of New Orleans for over 30 years. After Hurricane Katrina, Ms. Hammell made her home in Covington, LA. She was a retired commercial interior designer. Pat was an artist and woodcarver who received her inspiration from nature.
She was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Mandeville. In the last months of her life, she enjoyed attending the Deborah class at First Baptist Church, Covington.
She is survived by Robert and Marilyn Hammell of Milton, FL; Loretta Rivers and The Rivers Family of Union, MS; Curt and Ann Davenport and Scott Weber of the Seattle, WA area. She was predeceased by her parents, John Edward Hammell and Elinor Kipp Hammell.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, November 1, beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be a service at Milling Funeral Home, 23477 Hwy 15, Union, MS 39365 on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment will follow in Neshoba Baptist Church Cemetery, Union, MS.
