Owen Roy McCann's Obituary
Owen Roy McCann, a life resident of Covington, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the age of 89. He was born in New Orleans, LA on November 4, 1936 to Owen McCann Jr. and Nettie Mendow McCann.
Roy is survived by his sons, Hardy Roy McCann (Sonja) and James Robert McCann (Rebecca); sister, Elois Taylor; four grandchildren, Blake (Kelsey), Jamie (Samantha), Colton and Cameron and four great-grandchildren, Shealynn, Brody, Ella and Madison. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Fitzmorris McCann.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, 20122 Hwy 1081 (Stafford Road) Covington, LA.
