Ouida Abadie Cambre passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Cambre. Loving mother of Stafford Lynn Cambre, Adine C. Gettys, Joseph C. Cambre and Ouida L. Wortmann. Daughter of the late Leona Stafford Abadie and Henry W. Abadie. Sister of Rotha Saizan, Jo Ann Ward, Henry Abadie and the late Mary Lee Westmoreland. Grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Visitation on Saturday beginning at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Cambre to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. E.J.
