Ottomease Thompson Spinks' Obituary
God called another angel to be with Him, Ottomease Thompson Spinks, age 91, on Saturday, December 21, 2013. A life resident of Covington, she was born, Saturday, May 13, 1922 to Edward L. and Emma Booth Thompson.
She was the loving mother of Barbara S. Jenkins (the late Felton "Boo" Jenkins), Charlene S. King and Roy G. Spinks (Dawn) and is survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; five brothers - Kenzie H., William D., Wiley C., Joseph E., Elton C. Thompson and three sisters - Elva T. Joiner, Vesta T. Wilkins and Verna T. Willie.
Ottomease was a Lieutenant for the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Department, Tax Division, and retired in 1983 after 19 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15204 Highway 1078 Folsom, LA 70437.
Visitation at the church on Friday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at the Allison Cemetery in Folsom, LA will immediately follow services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Red Bluff Baptist Church.
