I will never forget my first meeting Richard & Joyce...Richard was a wonderful, super, person as well as his wife too... They had never met me until the day my husband Marel English and I gave them a surprise visit...Marel (Max) English was a long time friend of Joyce & her Sister Grace Marsh...Richard came to our aid with our motorcycle problems getting his trailer to load the cycle to go to a mechanic and they took me to the airport to get back home to Michigan...They showed me so much hospitality and she made the best greatest shrimp I ever had...I happened to be going through some photos of Bradley 5 & Darren 3 and decided to look online for see if I could contact them and was so sorry to see that Richard's obit came up......

Richard was a wonderful friend to our family, particularly to my father, Champ. He was one of the most positive, generous, and fun loving men we've known. He was always a pleasure to be around, especially when he was teasing Champ and Potsy. I always admired his strength through his life. God Speed Richard!

I certainly remember our days together at the Community Center ball fields and his being involved in the summer baseball program.

So sorry to learn of our old friend Richard's passing. We worked and laughed together in the Service Office and CpI/Service on St. Charles avenue. He was a good friend and we will always have fond memories of our years together, Rosella Dubroc & Diane Bonicard.
