Phyllis and Madeline -- I was so sorry to see this, but truly must smile at such wonderful memories of your Mom, as well as the two of you. She was such a terrific person, and had a way of not caring if you were really a total "klutz", as long as you tried! She obviously lived a wonderful life and had so many admirers -- what more could any of us ask for?! Thinking of you both.

Mrs. Brister was a fabulous PE teacher; when I tell people what our PE classes were like, they can’t believe it. She was serious about physical education and so were we!

We are so sorry for your loss. Fi was a special person to us.She was a mentor to me as I started my teaching career and was one of the most efficient, caring and motivated teachers I had the privilege of being around. Jesse and I were also proud to be able to call her a friend.She was instrumental in physical education for young girls throughout the state.What a fun person to be around. She was always doing something that was both fun for her and those around her.She was a model of how a person can work hard but still enjoy life to the fullest.

Phyllis- It was a pleasure to meet your mom at the Trace when she was living there. Her obituary reveals what an accomplished woman she was and the full life she lived. I am thinking of you during this time of loss.
