Omie Darcey Haney's Obituary
Omie Marion Darcey Haney passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Covington, LA. She was born on March 21, 1926 in Assumption Parish, LA to the late Curtis Joseph Darcey and Alma Martin Darcey.
Omie was the loving mother of Sharon A. Masters. She was the grandmother of Christopher Davenport (Celia) and Eric Davenport (Babette). She leaves behind 4 great-grandchildren. Omie was the sister of Charles Darcey, the late Lewana Underwood, Virgie Shubert, and Rhea Simoneaux. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 22 years, Charles Masters, Jr., and her second husband of 25 years, Oscar Haney.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
