Omar Morrell Hyman Sr.'s Obituary
Omar Hyman, Sr. (44) went on to be with our Lord and Savior on August 14, 2023. Omar Hyman was born on April 17, 1979, to Janice and Kenneth Hyman in Frankfurt, Germany. His wife of 20 years, Cheryl Hyman, joined him in death on the same day. Cheryl and Omar met in junior high school. They became high school sweethearts while attending Copperas Cove High School. They were together for over 25 years, and during their union, they were blessed with three boys, Cedric Hyman, Omar Hyman Junior, and Rodric Hyman. Rodric Hyman went before his parents to heaven on January 21, 2002.
Omar was passionate about playing dominos, the Cowboys, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loyal father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him and was a hard worker dedicated to providing for his family. Cheryl exemplified love and didn’t meet a child or a dog she did not adore. She was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was known for ensuring you ate and helping anyone in need. Her heart was big. Cheryl and Omar loved each other deeply and were best friends. They also loved their boys beyond measure and enjoyed taking family trips. They were very proud of the men Cedric and Junior had become.
Omar joins his father, Kenneth Hyman, in heaven. Omar Hyman is survived by his sons Cedric and Omar Junior, mother, Janice Hyman, brother Rocki Hyman (Lucky), and sister, Chiqueta Hyman. Omar and Cheryl left many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends behind. They will be missed but not forgotten.
