Ola Olena Youngblood Holliday passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009.
Beloved wife of Charles Holliday; loving mother of Deborah Jean Boland, Evelyn Doreen Revere and her husband Bill, Charlotte Dennise Cleland and her husband Ricky, and Charles O. Holliday; grandmother of Broko, Angela, Keith, Kevin, Kris, Alaska, Amy and Ashley; great-grandmother of Colton, Kailey and Emily; sister of Howard Youngblood, Nancy Clara Y. Knowles, and Wanda Faye Y. Mangum and her husband Gary; and sister-in-law to Dorothy Thomas, Kathryn Youngblood, Elvie Youngblood, and Gonzalo “Lucky” Renteria. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Bohannan Youngblood; her father, Joseph Youngblood; sisters, Bernice Youngblood, Evelyn Mavis Y. Harper, Mary Lois Y. Carter and Bessie Jo Y. Renteria; and brothers, Julious Marvin Thomas, Homer Clarence Youngblood and Joseph Leaston “J.L.” Youngblood.
Age 76 years, a native of Nichols, GA, she was a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 35 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Monday will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until service time.
Interment will follow in the Abita Springs Cemetery.
