Odell Coon Powell passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Covington, LA. She was born on September 5, 1920 in Nacogdoches, TX to the late O.A. and Lydia Horton Coon.
Odell is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Powell Bahm and her husband, Maurice R. Bahm. She was the proud grandmother of Shawn Powell Bahm. She was the sister of the late Alan Coon, Orlan Coon, Vena Pittman, Delores Long, and Nathan Coon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:30 PM until service time. Interment will take place the follow day, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA 71108 at 1:00 PM.
