Nyrie G. Saba's Obituary
Nyrie G. Saba of Covington on Friday, February 24, 2006. She is the beloved wife of Charles “Buck” Saba, Sr.; mother of Casey A. Saba, Charles “Chuck” Saba, Jr., Daniel C.A. Saba and Brandie N. Saba. Also survived by her mother, Lorraine Dvorak; five grandchildren, Courtney and Codi Foss, Isabella, Abbey and Charles B. Saba, III and her in-laws, Nan and Abe Saba. Age 48, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington for the past 21 years. Nyrie graduated from Dominican High and attended UNO and SLU. She worked for the Holiday Inn as Controller and at the Best Western as Manager, both here in Covington. She was a member of T.O.P.S. and the Krewe of Eve. She also volunteered her time with 2nd Harvesters and the local Food Bank. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the Covington Food Bank, 840 N. Columbia St., Covington, LA 70433.
