Dear Family, I was sadden to hear about the passing of Norwood. I knew him many years ago. As a teen we all spent much time on the lakefront and can still picturing him cutting up and having fun. My prayers are with you.

I was a classmate of Norwood's at Mandeville High and admired him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
I believe if they need a Chef in Heaven, Norwood would be the one they pick. We have many good memories of Norwood. We will miss his visits up north. God Bless Him!
My prayers are with you in this time of loss, may you find comfort in our Lord.
Sondra and family - We were terribly sorry to hear of Norwood's passing, he had become a good friend over the past years to everyone in our family. We will miss the conversations when he'd call the phone was passed around to everyone!! Such a kind and caring person and we loved his wisdom in the plant world. I got him hooked on the Japanese Morning Glories :)
Our sympathies are with you all at this time. Thank you Sondra for the email, we did not know about his passing. ~ Laurrie, Robert, Cheyenne & Dakota
Norwood was a close friend for 20 years, & a fellow historical reenactor. He loved making everyone laugh, and his laughter was like music to our ears. He lost his vision but we talked him into going to the grand reopening of the Islenos museum complex this past March. He enjoyed a taste of the culture and was looking forward to sharing some of his seeds with the Islenos gardens. We took him to eat at Rocky and Carlos for veal cutlet. We extend our thanks to everyone who prayed for him during his hosital stay. He did get to recover from his last stroke and went home, just not strong enough I guess. He will be sorely missed by my family and at the events. We loved him so very dearly. With his vast knowledge of history and other subjects he made a big impression on us and our children. We put our Norwood in the Lord's care and keeping until we meet again.
We loved Norwood like a brother! He will be truly missed. But we know that he had found truly eternal shining times!
One of my best friends ever. Will miss him.
I will miss our long conversations about science, renaissance, and gardening.
Ann & I are sorry for your loss of Norwood. He loved the game of reinacting the "good ole days". We will miss Norwood and his gentle ways.
