Norris Peter Plaisance Sr.'s Obituary
Norris Peter Plaisance, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2018 in Covington, LA at the age of 92.
He was preceded in death by his parents Praceillia Parks Plaisance and Anatole Plaisance. He was married to his beloved wife of 66 years, the late Loretta Laque Plaisance. He was the loving father of Norris P. Plaisance, Jr., Patricia P. Christensen (Keith), Robert J. Plaisance (Marcy), and the late Susan P. Miller (John). Brother of Dolita Plaisance David (Joseph) and the late Esmo Plaisance (Lucy), Manuel Plaisance (Darlene) and Carroll Plaisance (Delores). He will be dearly missed by his 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Plaisance to be made to the Hurricane Michael relief service of your choice.
