Dr. Normie Marian Miller DVM, passed away on Tuesday on February 5th at the age of 45. Daughter of Darlene Fabre Miller and Timothy (Tim) Miller and sister of Blayde Miller. She was born on February 27th 1973. She attended St. Per Read Obituary
I’ve only found out about Normie, not long ago, I send our deepest condolences. I use to clean Normie and all her employees cars years ago, and I saw the way she was with her fur babies and her employees. She was always good to me as well. Continue prayers for her family, losing a love one is never easy.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Unfortunately, we were not privileged to know your daughter personally, but we know that she had a beauty of character and personality that endured her to all who came in contact with her including all her fur babies.

God received an angel when he called Normie home. She was truly a lifesaver to Tiffi, Jazzee, Meneaux, Rufus, Buck, Daisy, and Addy. In 2012 my husband and I took a Meditterranean vacation and we boarded our dogs at her clinic. When we returned to pick up our pets, our bossy blue heeler German short-haired pointer mix, Buck, didn't want to leave. He bonded with "Aunt" Normie. Later that fall, my mother-in-law's Yorkies (Alex. Gigi, and Misty) died within weeks of each other. "Aunt Normie" shared many tears with us that fall. Our last meeting was in December 2013. We brought our sweet boy Rufus in for his final visit. She was a great comfort to us at our time of sorrow.
I will always remember how caring and compassionate she was with our pets. We will miss you.
To Normie's Parents; Your precious daughter was my hero many times when we brought our pets to her.Sometimes it was to save their lives, and sometimes to end their pain. She also was so compassionate and caring to me as well. You truely raised an angel. May the Lord bless you both with the loss of Normie on this earth, but know that she is in heaven with the Lord and Blessed Mother. We will all miss you so very much! What a beautiful soul. We were so very blessed to have Normie on our pilgrimage. You could easily see what a caring and loving child of God she was. She radiated God’s love in all she did. She will be sadly missed by all those in her community and all those she touched. We were just blessed to have met her and be in her presence. Tim and Valerie Parmer
My husband and I met Dr. Normie in 2012 when we had to rush our newly adopted kitten to her after our mare accidently stepped on him. We were sure he was going to lose his leg! Dr. Normie very calmly and quickly assured us that it looked much worse than it really was and had our Bubba fixed up and going home with us in no time. Dr. Normie became our vet on that day and every visit we had from then on was just as wonderful. No matter the situation, she took care of the problem and calmly reassured us! We only knew her professionally, but we did see her at daily Mass at St. Joseph's Abbey several times when we attended that Mass. She was a wonderful vet and obviously a lover of animals. She will be missed by us and our cats and I'm sure by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Eternal rest grant unto Dr. Normie, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Josie my Jack Russell when you mentioned vet Normie she was out the door tail wagging jumping in the car no matter how sick she was. Does that not tell you everything.

I am grateful honored and privledged to have known such a beautiful soul. My only regret is this I took you for granted and never told you how special you were. May God take special care of you as you took care of everyone around you.

I know we only knew each other for a short time a bond was formed & I am forever grateful for that. I am so thankful to God our most beautiful Mother Mary & the divine Holy spirit that our journey's crossed paths. It was so weird that we were in Medgorie & didn't connect & on our dream pilgramage to the Blessed Holy Land we did. God sure has some awesome plans. I'm so glad we become friends/sisters having a person like you in my life meant alot. You were someone I could always talk to & laugh with. You just made my laugh on purposes as you said I had a contagious one. You listened & offered support. You made the world a better, happier more brighter place. I will never you asking my opinion on your beautiful pieces you purchased in the Franciscan store & saying that you would enjoy for a year & then graciously offer it to me. I just had to promise to sing to you when ever you called. On Sun we exchanged texts talking about you visiting after Lent. You wanted to spend Easter with me. My heart is saddened but full of joy for you are Home with a Father who created you most wonderfully . I am just sorry that in all my efforts to attend your funeral & sing at your special occasion as I promised a winter storm has kept me in Canada. I will offer a mass for you today.I love, miss you pray for you, I will your loved ones family & friends. Rest in peace pace bene my most beautiful sister Normie.
