Norman Alexander Breazeale Jr.'s Obituary
Norman Alexander Breazeale, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Margaret “Libby” Breazeale. Loving father of Mike Breazeale (Pat), Leslie B. Longbottom (Roger) Tommy Breazeale (Denise) and the late Norman “Al” Breazeale, III. Son of the late Caroline Serio Breazeale and Norman Alexander Breazeale, Sr. Brother of Norma Goewy, Carol Oberer and the late Lawrence Breazeale, James Breazeale, Lloyd Breazeale and Beverly Pitre. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Breazeale was a retired sergeant with the New Orleans Police Department. He was also Chief of Police for the Mandeville Police Department and a bus driver for the St. Tammany Parish School Board for 23 years. Mr. Breazeale was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Abita Springs, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Mandeville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Breazeale to be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Abita Springs or St. Tammany Parish Hospital Hospice.
