Noreen Rase's Obituary
Noreen Rase passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026 in Covington, LA. She was 78 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. Rase, Jr. and Rita D. Rase, and her brother, Lawrence M. Rase, Sr. She is survived by her brother, Bill Rase (Debby), and her nieces and nephews, Christi Browne (Gregg), Mike Rase (Stacey), Lance Rase (Erika), her Godson Billy Rase, IV (Britney) and also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Noreen was born in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Saint Scholastica Academy with honors, where she participated in volleyball and was elected to the homecoming court. She then attended Southeastern Louisiana University and earned a degree in English Literature. However, she realized her calling was in healthcare and went on to become a registered nurse. She worked as head nurse at Greenbriar Hospital in Covington before retiring. She also enjoyed cheering on the Saints and the Pelicans! Her presence will live on in our hearts!
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 am at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA and the visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
