Noel Rogér Marsolan's Obituary
Noel Rogér Marsolan, age 95 of Covington, LA passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born January 18, 1926 in New Orleans, LA to Ernest and Katherine Harvey Rogér.
Mrs. Marsolan was a native New Orleanian and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 83 years.
She is survived by her beloved children Jean Noel Bazer (Phil), Rebecca Dale Mackie (Hank), Norman F. Marsolan, Jr. (Maureen), and Harvey V. Marsolan (Joy); 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman F. Marsolan; daughter, Sally Ann Marsolan; sisters, Bennie R. Bargas, Gladys R. Smith, Sally Sanders Jones, Louise (Dettie) D’Oliveira and Kathleen Rogér; and brothers, Ernest Rogér, and H. Harvey Rogér.
Mrs. Marsolan attended public schools in New Orleans, LA, Sacred Heart Academy, Grand Coteau, LA and Lyon High, Covington, LA. She worked as a secretary during World War II for Army Engineers, Baton Rouge, LA. She later became the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Marsolan Feed & Seed Store, where she worked for many years.
Mrs. Marsolan loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Faith Presbyterian Church, 16330 Highway 1085 (Bootlegger Road), Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM with visitation on Monday day beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the services in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 2280 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church, 16330 Highway 1085 (Bootlegger Road), Covington, LA 70433.
