Nicole Norman Wetzel passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at her home in Mandeville, LA. Beloved wife of Jason Steven Wetzel and devoted mother of Dominique Claire Wetzel, she is survived by her parents, Dale David and Elmire Read Obituary
I never had the chance to meet Nik in person, but as a member of SIS I remember her inspirational notes and kind and generous spirit. She will be greatly missed on SIS and always remembered. My deepest sympathies to the Wetzel and Norman families.

I am so sad to have heard the news of Nik's passing. She was such a great inspiration on SIS. She is a beautiful soul that will be missed greatly by all.

Kevin, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your beautiful sister. Know that she will be looking for her brother to take care of Dominique and she will need to hear stories of her mommy. Please pass on my sympathy to your parents as I know what it is to have a daughter go to heaven. The ache will never go away. My thoughts are with all of your family at this time. I am saddened by Nik's death and everything she had to go through. She will always be our SIS angel and always in our hearts. I never got the chance to meet her in person or even see a picture of her until today, but her spirit came through in the messages she wrote.
Sympathy goes out to Nik's husband, daughter and extended family. She will be missed.
As we sat through Nicole's services we could see and feel how much love and care all of her family has for her.She brought beauty and love to everyone around her. She was such an amazing daughter,wife,sister,mother and friend to many.Nicole's courage,strength and faith gave others the strength and hope to go on. For all the memories and love she leaves behind her leagacy lives on in each and everyone of you.
Please know that our prayers are with all of you at this sorrowful time. Remember the wonderful memories and times that God has given you with Nicole, which will keep her spirit alive with yours and Nicole's Family.
