Nicholas M. Cognevich, Sr.'s Obituary
Nicholas M. Cognevich, Sr. passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Grace Clerc Cognevich. Loving father of Nicholas M. Cognevich, Jr., Debra C. Singer and Gina C. Goetzie. Son of the late Anita Ban Cognevich and Dimitry J. Cognevich, Sr. Brother of the late Dimitry Cognevich, Jr. and Andrew Cognevich. Also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cognevich was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a resident of Covington for the past 32 years.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Tammany Parish Hospital for their compassionate care.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Street, Covington, LA 70433 with visitation at church beginning at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
