Nevie Louise Johnston's Obituary
Nevie Louise Johnston passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of the late John Henry Johnston. Loving mother of Pam Johnston Harris (husband Jimmy) and Dr. Jay Johnston (wife Jerilyn). Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Crutchfield. Grandmother of Jamie Harris Braddy (husband Shaun), John Grady Johnston Jr. (wife Ann), Jody Garret Johnston. Great-grandmother of Madison Braddy and Charlie Braddy.
She was a native of Bay St. Louis, MS and a longtime resident of New Orleans. Mrs. Johnston was a loving wife, mother and granny and enjoyed being a real estate agent and bookkeeper. While she was in New Orleans she was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11:00 at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 with visitation at church on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Johnston be made to the Annual Fund of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, 3939 Gentilly Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70126.
