Neva Felker Creech's Obituary
Neva Creech passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009. She was born October 7, 1926 in Booneville, MS to the late Robert and Jeanette Davis Felker and lived most of her life in Baton Rouge before moving to Mandeville eight years ago.
She is the beloved mother of three children: Sandra A. Creech, Nita C. Moore, her husband Gordon, and G. Stephen Creech, and his wife Rachael. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Tamee Perkins, Leah Evans, Holly Norton, Taylor and Barrett Creech and six great-grandchildren: Drew, Cole, Reed, Kyndall, Grayson and Katy. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Every Monday night for 50 years, Neva played Bridge with a group in Zachary, LA and she was a dedicated member of the South Baton Rouge Church of Christ for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM from St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr., Mandeville, LA 70471.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon.
Interment will follow services at Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary, LA. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA has been entrusted with arrangements.
