Nannette J. Alford's Obituary
The world became a brighter place on September 22, 1948, the day Nannette J. Alford was born. Nannette sadly passed away on October 30, 2022, surrounded by everyone she loved. Her smile would light up a room and her wittiness would bring a smile to everyone’s face. She was the most wonderful mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend.
Nannette was preceded by her beloved grandson, Peyton Halley; her parents, Leo and Mildred Jacob Jr.; her husband, CA Alford; and sister-in-law, Paulette Jacob. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her only child, Stacey Halley (Byron Scandaliato); brothers and sister-in-law, Leo and Johnette Jacob III and Tim Jacob; her best friend and keeper of her secrets, Sherry Seal along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nannette enjoyed watching football and was an avid LSU fan. Nannette will be remembered for her easy going, kind spirit. She loved her family beyond measure and would do anything for them. While the family mourns her passing, they take comfort in knowing they will see her again.
