Nancy was defined by her nurturing, sunny, and caring disposition. She was the parent who was there for every ball game, dance recital, and school function. As she raised her children, she worked to make ends meet in jobs that allowed her to center herself around her kids. Once her youngest child graduated, she began a career as a para-professional on a public school bus to nurture and care for other children as well. Her extended family saw her as the fun-loving event planner who coordinated gatherings so that her large family could be together for holidays and reunions. She has led such a loving role and example for her children and family. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Due to COVID and Hurricane Ida, a funeral mass will be held privately for family. The interment will immediately follow where she will be laid to rest in Barker McManus Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for family and friends at a later time.
