Morgan George Smith Jr.'s Obituary
Morgan George Smith, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was born in New Orleans, LA on March 14, 1943.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Lambert Smith; one sister, Valerie Rebstock of Baton Rouge; one brother, Walter “Buck” Smith of Robert; his Godchild, Tabatha Stahl Valencia and nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elta Eva Dufrene Smith and Morgan G. Smith, Sr. ; and siblings, Janet Smith, Errol “Red” Smith and Andre “Pumpkin” Smith.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Morgan was a crane operator in New Orleans and offshore. He was also a truck driver and numerous other jobs all his life.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by Traditions Hospice.
