Monica Synakiewicz Osburn's Obituary
Monica Synakiewicz Osburn was born May 15, 1964 in Berwyn, IL. She has been a resident of Mandeville, Louisiana since 1972. She is survived by her parents Clarence B. Synakiewicz and Marlene T. Nicolas, her daughter Shannon Marange and husband Jeff, her son Robert “Bobby” Osburn and wife Hilary; her grandchildren Hailey, Caden, and Brody Marange, and Karlyn Osburn, her siblings Theresa Hurstel and husband David, Michael Synakiewicz, David Synakiewicz and wife Alana; Patricia Osburn, Robert K Osburn, her husband of 26 years; Jason Synakiewicz, Michael Synakiewicz, and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and her many, many friends. She is preceded in death by Rene F. Nicolas, Robert A. Osburn, and Dorothy Stringfield Bazar.
Monica graduated from Mandeville High School in 1982 and was a part of the dance team and flag team. She put her heart into everything she did. She was such a loving mother, and grandmother, affectionately known as GaGa. She was so proud of her kids and family’s accomplishments in life and was always a shoulder to lean on. She was a devoted Christian who raised her children in faith. She was the most loving and caring person that you would have ever known. She never met a stranger, loved entertaining, and loved being at the beach.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations to defer funeral cost may be made to the family via the Venmo app to ozzy4988.
