Mitchell Anthony Boone's Obituary
Mitchell Anthony Boone died Thursday March 4, 2010. He was born May 30, 1963 in Jefferson Parish and was a longtime resident of Covington, LA, with his most recent residence in Ballston Spa, New York.
The beloved son of Antoinette Palmere Boone and the late Donald Joseph Boone, He is survived by his son, Nicholas Aaron Keller; his beloved fiancée and longtime companion, Lisa Beth Pritchett; many cherished uncles, aunts, cousins, dear friends and his good horse, Bud. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clarence & Agnes Boone, Helen Boone Larmeu & Martin Larmeu, Paul & Camelle Palmere.
Mitchell enjoyed an extensive and rich history in the thoroughbred horse racing industry and most recently worked in Saratoga Springs, NY for the New York Racing Association as a Backstretch field trainer under John Veitch, American Hall of Fame Thoroughbred horse trainer and State of Kentucky Thoroughbred Racing Commissioner. Mitchell was a joyous force of life and will be greatly missed by everyone he encountered throughout his life.
The time of visitation and service will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 from 11:00 AM until Noon at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Graveside services and interment will begin at 1:30 PM at Garden of Memories on Airline Highway in Metairie, LA.

I miss you a lot, I'm feeling distraught lately we haven't been close but you're still one of the people I love the most I wish we had more time together but I will listen to your whisper through the weather you were a great person with a big Heart and that's just a start Never will I forget you or the times we had I will try not to get so sad. I will remember you as you live in me... That way your face I will always see.
