Milton P. Mayeaux, Jr.'s Obituary
Milton Paul Mayeaux, Jr., “Poppy,” a native of New Orleans, LA, and a recent resident of Mandeville, LA, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the age of 83.
He was the beloved and loving husband of 43 years to the love of his life, the late Linda Pareti Mayeaux of Lakeview. He leaves to cherish his memories his seven children; Christine M. Apple (Michael), Rene’ M. Mosley-Smith (Glenn), Juli M. Johnson (Ross), Leslie A. Mayeaux, Laura M. Treadway (Gary), Mark M. Mayeaux, and Laurance P. Mayeaux (Melissa). Also survived by his grandchildren Michelle M. Foulke, Kimberly A. Hensen, Ashley E. Johnson, Jacob A. Treadway, Morgan M.. Mayeaux, Mia M. Mayeaux, Lauran E. Mayeaux, Gabrielle G. Treadway, Juliet R. Treadway, Antonio (Tony) D. Mayeaux. One step-grandson Christian J. Treadway. Seven great-grandchildren and one great, great, grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents Milton P. Mayeaux, Sr. of Avoyelle, LA and Emma Bankston Mayeaux of Franklin, MS.
Our Poppy will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His quick and witty sense of humor and his genuine love of life will forever be remembered.
A private memorial will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012.
