Milton Louis Dinkel, Sr., age 91 of Covington, LA died on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Christwood Retirement Community.
Born July 04, 1927 in New Orleans, LA.
Survived by his Wife of 69 years - Helen Philbrook Dinkel, Sons - Milton L. Dinkel Jr. (Leslie), Kevin W. Dinkel (Desma), Daughter - Bonnie L. Dinkel, Sisters - Melva Dinkel Burgess, Audrey Dinkel Meagher, Grandchildren – Ann Ollivier (Matthew), Chad Dinkel (Angel), Thomas Dinkel (Vanessa), Corey Dinkel (Claire), Elizabeth Fuentes (Joe), Cami Geisman (Hunter), John Robert Miller (Natalie), Oscar Deleon (April), Great Grandchildren – Paige, Wyatt, Grant and Avery Ollivier, Brody and Abram Dinkel, Louis, Lila and Adelaide Dinkel, Archer and Louise Geisman, Charlie and Harrison Miller.
Preceded in death by parents George J. Dinkel and Lydia Heyl Dinkel and brother Stanley Dinkel.
Veteran of WWII serving in the Seabees of the US Navy. Retiree after 42 years with the Bell System.
On Thursday, November 1, 2018 relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr. Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM followed by Services starting at 11:00 AM.
A reception will follow at 1:00 PM at Christwood Retirement Community Atrium, 100 Christwood Blvd, Covington, LA 70433. Please join us for remembrance and fellowship.
