Mildred Baumann Ruiz's Obituary
Mildred Louise Baumann Ruiz passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Mandeville, LA. She was born on Sunday, November 20, 1921 in New Orleans, LA to Jeanette Sharp and Frank Baumann. A resident of New Orleans and Harahan, LA, she retired from Rheem Manufacturing and moved to Bush, LA in 1981. She was a member of Sharp's Chapel Church of God, enjoyed crochet, playing Bingo and traveling with the Young at Heart group from Covington.
The beloved wife of the late George W. Ruiz, Sr. for 49 years, she is survived by her son - George W. Ruiz, Jr. (Marilynn); two grandsons - George W. Ruiz III and Stephen Ruiz; one granddaughter - Kerri Howard; two great grandchildren - Kelsey and Mallory and one brother - Frank Baumann, Jr. (Ada). Her parents precede her in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 16, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Monday will begin at 9:30 AM.
Interment at Sharp's Chapel Cemetery in Bush, LA will immediately follow services.
