What can I say, Nan was my friend for 45 years an I loved her. Nan had been lost to us for while, Alzheimer's does that to you, I pray for her.
I am very saddened to learn of Nan's illness and passing. I grew up in Ruston and went to high school with Nan. I will always remember her sweet face and smile. She was my Sub Deb Club big sister. As a "little sister" I idolized her, and I am sure many others did as well. She was beautiful inside and out.

Nan, Ann and I started school together in first grade, graduated from Ruston High School in 1961. The Hood twins were such good friends and we enjoyed many happy times together, sleepovers, bbq at Hoods and church at Temple. I have thought of Nan so many times, she was a wonderful friend. Pat and Nan were our oldest son's in laws, and they were family to us, from the first time we met. Always friendly, loving, giving and fun, when we were together!! We were friends and family both! We will miss Nan, and of course still miss Pat and Patrick! We have many special memories of them. Her art work was indeed, spectacular and she was such a great lady! I'm glad we have one of her paintings!! So VERY SORRY that we are unable to be at her Memorial Service tomorrow, due to Mark's knee replacement surgery about a month ago. We will be there with you in our hearts and minds. Love you all so very much, and may you feel God's arms around you as you adjust to life without her!!
