Mildred Yvonne Williams Brewster's Obituary
Yvonne Williams Brewster, at the age of 89, entered eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Madisonville, Louisiana on August 4, 1933, to Dewitt Williams and Louise Gitz Williams.
Yvonne is survived by her adoring children, Vicki B. Adam (Randy), Ed Brewster (Peggy), Mike Brewster (Heather) and Barry Brewster (Cheryl). She was the proud grandmother of Chris (Michelle), Ashley (Stephen), William (Monique), Morgan (Josh), Shelly (Matt), Michael, Blake, Katie (Cory), Jacob (Brittany) and Taylor (Maggie); and devoted great-grandmother of Jayce, Ellie, Millie, Mimi Ann, Allie, Aidan, Ava, Mady, Reagan, Lane, Bentley, Wyatt, Josie, Carter, Cason, Jaycee, Austin and Weston. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents Dewitt and Louise Williams; her loving husband Alfred Brewster; her brother, Jack Williams and her sister, Betty W. Morgan.
Yvonne was a native and lifelong resident of Madisonville. She worked for the family dairy business from the 1940s to 1952. At the age of 19 she went to work at the St. Tammany Parish Courthouse.
Yvonne was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and indoors. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family and friends. Yvonne was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memoires of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Theodore Dendinger Cemetery, Dendinger M and Highway 21, Madisonville, Louisiana on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 10:30 AM.
