Mikael Charleston Minor's Obituary
Our little angel, Mikael Charleston Minor, was born sleeping into his mother and father’s arms on July 19, 2019.
Mikael is survived by his loving parents Jennifer and Brian Minor; his sisters Zarriah and Alianna Colella-Minor; and his brother Mateo Minor. He is also survived by his grandparents Harold and Teresa Benitez and Debra Minor. His uncles Harold Benitez Jr., Tommy Benitez and Matthew Minor and aunts Jessica Benitez, Cyndi Benitez and Hollie Minor.
Mikael is greeted in heaven by his grandfather, Warren Minor; maternal great grandparents, Manuel and Juanita Marin and Olga Maria de Benitez and Manuel Benitez; and paternal great grandparents Warren and Joanne Minor and Joseph and Pauline Tarrats.
We named him Mikael after the archangel Michael, a Saint and warrior, who strengthens the spirit during difficult times and is the angel of healing and protection. His name means "He who is as God" and he is also thought to be the one who gently leads our souls to heaven.
Mikael was shown so much love in his short time with us. We spent our few hours with him bathing and dressing him, getting fingerprints and giving him all the love he deserved while in our arms. We got to say our goodbyes, the girls and Mateo included, which we are all thankful for. Although we are completely heartbroken, we find strength that he is in heaven with God and will always be our angel looking over us. One day we will get to see our beautiful baby boy again in heaven.
