Michelle Loretta Emerson Griffin's Obituary
Michelle Loretta Emerson Griffin was born on August 4, 1971, in Chalmette, LA, to Richard Emerson and Joan Hupp Emerson.
Michelle earned her wings on July 28, 2021, at the age of 49. She is survived by her husband, Steve Griffin III, loving children, Gabrielle McCoy (Daniel) and Rochelle Griffin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Parker, Mila, and Greyson. Michelle also leaves behind her brother, Richard Emerson (Mary), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Michelle was a free spirit and lived her life to the fullest. Throughout her life, she has touched many hearts. She was always leaving a memory of a good time. During this time, she would not want us to shed a tear. She would want us to celebrate with the happy memories she shared with each and every one of us.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM.
