Michele E. "Mimi" Navilhon's Obituary
Michele E. “Mimi” Navilhon passed away on Thursday March 25, 2021 at the age of 60. Beloved sister to Jeannette R. Carambat and Patricia Stoute and sister in law to Louis Stoute, Jr. Loving aunt to John Carambat, Mike Carambat, Jr., Daniel Stoute, Louis Stoute, III, Tammy Jones, Chase Davis, Samuel Carambat, Cramer Carambat, Amanda Carambat, Eloise Carambat, Casey Stoute and Earl Warden, III. Michele is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice J. Navilhon, Jr. and Shirley Arcement Navilhon and her brother in law Michael J. Carambat, Sr.
Generous and kind, Michele loved everyone she met and always greeted them with a smile. She loved competing with her friends with the Arabi Special Bowling Club, traveling with her family to Disney World, going out for dinner, watching game shows and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and Richard Simmons.
The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Tammany Hospital staff and Hospice care for their wonderful service they gave Michele.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday March 31, 2021 beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday April 1, 2021 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery 2280 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
