I worked with Mike prior to Hurricane Katrina. He was a great guy. I still remember his voice messages,always impersonating Elvis. Just thinking about him makes me smile.

To the Scaife Family, I send my deepest sympathy. Mike was a great person to work with. He would always go above and beyond to fix any problem we had with our computers. He called me sunshine because when he was having a bad day or just needed to vent, he would contact me and I was able to lift his spirits and make him laugh or smile. His sense of humor was remarkable. Mike will surely be missed. May he rest in peace : )
My prayers and sympathy are with Mike's family during this time of grief. Mike was such a blessing in my life---sometimew he was the only person who could make me smile! His twisted sense of humor, voice mail messages in Elvis's voice, even the time he took to tell us some of the crazy trouble tickets he received as our IT Tech at Regions always made me feel better! From the day he started work, my name changed to "Red". Here we are 8 or 9 years later, and I promise you that the last time he was here, he still asked me "What's going on, Red?"
I'm going to miss Mike, and my prayers are with his family and friends as we mourn our loss and celebrate his homecoming. God bless you all!
My last words to Mike in an email when I found out he was on medical leave.....I'm a praying person, so I said a prayer for you today asking that you be strengthen to overcome whatever health obstacle is currently in your way.
Well, God had other plans and considered his work on this earth, complete.
I am blessed to have known Mike and to have had the opportunity to enjoy his humor, kindness, and expertise in solving any and all of my computer problems. I will certainly miss being called, Lovely Loretta by Mike.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I RETIRED FROM REGIONS A FEW YEARS AGO BUT WORKED WITH THERE WITH MIKE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HE WAS A VERY GOOD TECHNICIAN AND WELL LIKED AT THE BANK. I ENJOYED WORKING WITH HIM. I REALLY LOVED HIS SENSE OF HUMOR. I KNOW HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY HIS FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CO WORKERS.

Regrettably, I did not know Mike outside of work for I always thought him to be such a fun, dynamic person and the straightest shooter in the world. He was a magical person and anyone who knew him had to recognize how special it was to share time with him. He had a wicked sense of humor, intelligence and warmth.
He was the acme of a conscientious person who brightened up anyone's day when he came to "fix" whatever you needed. Might be just to share a good word, but whatever problem you had he was the go to- can do man. You rested easier when Mike was taking care of you.
I remember when he bought his little red convertible and the total and ablsolute joy he took in showing all of us girls his new toy. He was so happy and you felt his rapture in capturing a youthful muse.
My family and I will keep all of you and Mike in our thoughts and prayers. The world has lost a true gentleman a bright light and a lovely person in his passing.

I will miss Mike. He could always be counted on to fix my computer problems, and to cheer me up with a funny story or his somewhat cynical, but always upbeat commentary on whatever was happening. A friend who will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered.
